County Minor Hurling Final This Saturday

Rebel Og County Minor B Hurling Final Sat 4th October – 3:30pmVenue – Coachford After a long and exciting championship campaign, our Minor hurlers take on West Cork Champions Kilbree this Saturday in the County Minor B Hurling Final. The game has been fixed for Coachford at 3:30pm. Carraig started out their campaign with a good win over 4-14 to 2-6 over Tracton in early August and followed it up with a win over near neighbours Grenagh in an exciting Eastern Region semi final on a scoreline of 4-07 to 1-11. After a highly entertaining and hard fought East Final, Carraig emerged victorious over Donoughmore on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-14. In the county semi final a fortnight ago, the lads ground out a 2-07 to 1-07 win over Dromtarriffe in a tricky match, with little separating the two sides. All of that has lead us to Saturday and our first appearance in a county final at Minor level since a team captained by Timmy Geaney won the trophy back in 2005. We wish Gavin, Mark and all the team the very best of luck on Saturday. Give it absolutely everything lads. We encourage all our supporters to come along and support the team on the day, your support can make all the...
