The Annual General Meeting was held in Scoil an Athar Tadhg on Friday 16th January. The meeting was attended by close on 40 members and there was some good discussion on a number of important topics as we look forward to 2015.

Treasurer Gillian Sheehan presented a details breakdown of the clubs finances for the year. As always, the costs of running a club are growing every year. A successful fundraiser in the form of the Race Night held in November has added to our development fund and it was noted that more fundraising and increased support for the club lotto will be neccessary in the coming years if we are to expand our facilities.
Chairman Dermot O’Driscoll then addressed the meeting and thanked all the members who worked hard throughout the year on and off the field. He complimented the successful Minor Hurlers, who were unfortunately defeated in the County final after a great season.
A motion to reform the Juvenile commitee was overwhelmingly passed and a further meeting to elect officers and put management teams in place for the coming year will be held next week for the Juvenile teams. We wish all these incoming officers and mentors the very best for 2015.
