Carraig na bhFear GAA – Reeling in the Years

A Chairde, Carraig na bhFear CLG hopes everyone is keeping safe in these challenging times and coping as best they can.

As the GAA season remains in limbo, and the pace of life is somewhat slower, the opportunity to reflect presents itself. With this in mind, Carraig na bhFear CLG is beginning the process of recording the clubs history, from the reformation of the club in the nineteen fifties to the present day. AND WE NEED EVERYBODYS HELP! Because the story of Carraig CLG is your story.
Please find a link below to a word document which allows members to fill in as many details as they can recall in respect to any games, victories, defeats, occasions that happened in the last 60- 70 years. Every bit of information is vital. The gaps are big and it is only with your help that we can paint the picture. The word document can be filled in via a variety of ways, and don’t restrict yourself to filling out just one copy. The format can be repeated numerous times, for numerous memories and numerous teams
Please share the document with other family members, mothers, fathers, grandparents etc. The document is also for all our underage players as a means for them to record their journey both to the present day, and for the future.
You can send your filled out forms either by email to pro.carraignabhfear.cork@gaa.ie, or alternatively, you can post the forms to Conor Hegarty, Gormlee, Carraig na bhFear. We hope with the return of GAA Activity that we will be able to put a drop off box in the dressing rooms for members to leave the forms also.
