Unfortunately, Castlemartyr have withdrawn from this Sundays East Cork Junior A Football Championship quarter final, with the resulting walkover meaning we progress to face defending champions Glenbower Rovers in the semi final in a few weeks time.
This is a less than ideal outcome for the team, as we have now gone five whole months without a football being kicked in Championship action, an unsatisfactory situation which must surely be raised at board level in the near future.

In the other quarter finals, Dungourney face Midelton and Carrigtwohill play Cobh, with both games taking place this weekend. Glenbower Rovers have been nominated to represent Imokilly in the County Championship next Friday night against Millstreet.
