While the weather this morning may have given the impression it was a dull and dreary Monday in Carraig, the festive mood was in full swing in the Shop as our lucky Jackpot winner Karen Drummond received her €9400 prize from Lotto Committee member and President of Carraig na bhFear GAA Club Tommy Sheehan.
Karen is a hugely popular winner and we wish her all the best with her win. Karen has been predicting her win to Tommy for a while now when he calls in to collect the tickets from the shop on Monday evenings. Well today her dreams came true and Tommy arrived with the cheque! Congratulations once again Karen, happy Christmas from all in Carraig na bhFear GAA Club.

The Jackpot reached record levels over the past few months and the club and Lotto Committee would like to thank all those who continue to support the draw every week. The funds raised by the lotto are crucial to the club and put in simple terms, the club could not survive without your support for the weekly draw. Over the last year alone, lotto funding has helped us refurbish our gym with state of the art equipment, purchase a new mower for the pitch, rewire the pitch perimeter, install new lights on the training area and reconfigure the dressing room walls, with further works to be completed in due course.
