It promises to be a busy St. Patricks Day in Carraig na bhFear, with a full day of activities on the schedule.
It all starts with an Poc Gearr, St.Patricks day @10am from the College car park to the village.
This is a Fun family event for all ages and in particular, the young hurlers who may not be old enough to take part in the longer equivalent later that morning.
Refreshments in community centre afterwards.
Then, it’s all off to Coole Cross for An poc fada at 11.30am. Teams of 3 €15 and all proceeds go to Marymount Hospice.
Also on St.Patricks night the Juvenile Club are holding a Mr.& Mrs Competition in the Arches Bar from 9pm. Come along and see some of our local couples put to the test on how well they know each other, or don’t?!?
